On Sundays we leave Mammoth Village for SoCal at 4:30 pm, arrive in Palmdale at 8:15 pm, Santa Clarita at 8:50 pm, Van Nuys at 9:15 pm, Redondo Beach at 10:00 pm and Fullerton at 10:30 pm. We have buses available for every weekend of the season and schedule trips when we have enough reservations. There is no charge or deposit required for reservations. We need to sell 31 seats to book a weekend bus. When we have 31 reservations we will start selling seats. We will make the trip happen when we have sold a minimum of 31 seats. If any of the 31 reservations fail to purchase seats we need to replace them before we can book the trip. Of course we will continue to sell the remaining seats of our 56 seat bus from there up to departure. If a trip does not happen, sold seats on it can be used on available seats on other weekends or issued a full refund at the purchaser’s request.

You work hard during the week and want to relax, decompress and have fun over the weekend.  Let’s face it, you put up with the stress and tension of driving up Hwy 395 for the weekend only because there were no other real options (or you happen to own a Ferrari and don’t care).

I’ve taken more trips up and down Hwy 395 than I care to count often fighting blinding headlights in the rain at night with my three children in the car with no choice but to push on past my own exhaustion.

Mammoth is EPIC!  The staff are great, the town is great, the runs are great. Hit it on a powder day and you may not want to come back home!

But home I had to come back to for the children’s school and my work.  Flying was not available until recently. And now that flights are available you will be hard pressed to find a flight that will allow you to get two full weekend days on the slopes and still put in a full week of work or school.  And even if you did, the money you will save traveling with us will cover the cost of one maybe two lift tickets. Also, between the time in the airport making new friends with TSA pat downs, flight times and layovers, your comparative travel time will be very similar.

Instead, now you have the option to enjoy the relaxing ride on a private luxury charter bus complete with free WiFi, lavatory, personal reading lights, overhead storage and reclining seats. We stow your boots, equipment and luggage safely below and leave Fridays late afternoon/early evenings from SoCal and arrive in Mammoth Village around 10:30 pm. From there you can take a shuttle or taxi to your lodging (lodging and lift tickets are not included). After two fun-filled days on the mountain look forward to a long peaceful nap rather than a long tiring drive home. We leave Mammoth for SoCal Sundays after the mountain closes.

We look forward to being of service!

SNOW in the Forecast

Sure, not a POW day announcement.
But, you will have to agree they are doing everything humanly possible to make it possible to board and ski – certainly good enough for the US Grand Prix. Have a look…

Snowmaking Mammoth Mtn

January 16-19, 2014 America’s best snowboarders will compete on Mammoth’s famed Unbound terrain park and superpipe to determine who among them will represent the United States at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

As the final stop of the Grand Prix series, Mammoth will be the location where the Men’s and Women’s halfpipe and slopstyle Olympic teams will be formally named, and will be broadcast on NBC.

This article from the Huffington Post is nothing short of incredible… Actual Snow Flake

Just in time for winter and the onslaught of December snowstorms, Russian photographer Alexey Kljatov has devised a clever way to bring the wonder of macrophotography to the minuscule world of snowflakes.

We are proud to announce that we are now listed on the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area website under Vacation Planning –> Getting Here –> By Bus/Shuttle.
